Claire Draper was preparing to swim The Wash to raise money for her best friends’ daughter Jossie who is fighting high-risk neuroblastoma. The Brownlee’s and HUUB have collaborated to produce the ultimate wetsuit for race performance. It has been a two-year development, with the Brownlee’s sitting alongside HUUB every step of the way as their testers and developers. Team Hatch consists of twelve people who completed Challenge Lisbon 70.3 earlier this year. Of these, eight will go on to complete Challenge Roth 140.6 in July, and they have never done a full distance triathlon before! All the team are raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in memory of Emma Rose Hatchley. Each individual will have put in over 300 hours of training in 2018 before their participation at Challenge Roth.
