Ahead of The ITU Grand Final 2016 in Cozumel, Mexico

After taking the win in Edmonton, two time Olympic medallist Jonathan Brownlee will be battling it out in Mexico with Mario Mola. With only 235 points between them, this means the race for the world title will be furious.

Jonathan will be looking for the win with support from his Olympic Gold medallist brother Alistair on the Swim and Bike to fend off Mola who must finish below 4th for Jonathan to take the 2016 title.

Other HUUB athletes in the Mens WTS final include Olympic Bronze medallist Henri Schoeman, Richard Varga who is first out the swim more than any other ITU athlete and Derby triathlete Tom Bishop who was the 5th place finisher in Edmonton. For the Women, we have Team GB's Helen Jenkins and South Africa's Mari Rabie.

The grand final Elite races take place this weekend, 17th & 18th September.
