HUUB announce recent competition winners

Gift Card

A few weeks ago we kicked off a competition giving you the opportunity to win Kristian Blummenfelt's signed IRONMAN™ 70.3 Middle East rucksack. He showed the established middle distance athletes how to race at Ironman 70.3 in Bahrain, preventing Javier Gomez from the million-dollar prize purse wearing the HUUB Swimskin and Tri Suit. HUUB were also offering two runners-up prizes of a £50 Gift card each. The randomly picked winner of the signed rucksack is Stephen Browning, and the lucky runners-up are David Poland and Caroline Holcombe.

And then last week we offered five people a place on the Derby to Skegness Annual Bike Ride which takes place on 1st July 2018. For every pound each person raises for Rainbows Hospice via their Just Giving page we'll match it in HUUB vouchers for them (capped at £1000 per person).

Here are the lucky winners and their winning entries:

Tim C

I'm a keen cyclist and triathlete, and it is my birthday the weekend of 1st July. I've been looking for a worthwhile activity to do that weekend for some time.

I'm very aware of the important work that Rainbows do. Most importantly I know that, like all other children's hospices in England, Rainbows is almost entirely reliant on charitable donations to stay open. Rainbows get only 15% of its funding from the government. It is extremely important that both funds and awareness are raised every year, particularly in times when care budgets are so under strain.

I would be very happy to raise money and awareness for Rainbows by completing this (birthday) challenge.

Sign me up HUUB! Great cause, Great brand and would love to be one of your chosen five! Should I be lucky enough to be chosen, then I pledge to do the back to back double – Derby to Skegness to Derby!

Russ B

I would love to be a part of this amazing charity ride. Perfect for my build up to IMW! I would do the whole ride I'm fancy dress, with the outfit being chosen by the highest sponsor.

Jerry K

Being in a hospice as a sick child with skin cancer myself, I know how important it is to have your loved ones close to you. I'm an age group triathlete and having HUUB as a partner I would love to participate in the charity to give something back.

Charlie M

I love to raise money for a good cause. I'll wear HUUB wetsuit whilst I do it!!!!
