We know it is already out there, but we'd like to announce and welcome Kristian Blummenfelt to the HUUB family officially.
Triathlon World Series and ITU ranked number three Blummenfelt joins UK based HUUB Design. The young and progressive six-year-old company from Derby have stepped forward once again to support one of the sports brightest new talents who will be joining the greatest group of athletes ever assembled by a triathlon company. Kristian saw 2017 as his breakthrough year in ITU but also surprised many with his 70.3 Bahrain debut win.
Dean Jackson, HUUB's owner and founder, stated "I am so pleased that yet again we can welcome an amazing athlete, wonderful person and true triathlon ambassador for his country. Kristian reinforces our commitment to worldwide distributors by securing local heroes and stars to help spread the HUUB message that we deliver the world’s fastest triathlon products.
"Scandinavia and specifically Norway have seen amazing growth through our distributor Henning Iverson of Adrena Distribution who has helped establish us as a key player in the territory. To support this with the country’s most exciting talent was a marriage that just had to happen, Kristian is the best triathlete to come out of Norway. Being able to work with Kristian is right on so many levels, promotion, business and most of all athlete development. Kristian will help us as much as we can assist him."
Kristian commented on his new agreement with HUUB, "Having visited HUUB's Derby HQ I can vouch for what an amazing family of people they are, and I have never felt as welcome. I am proud to be part of the team of athletes that are some of the stars today, and in the past, I have looked up to. I feel very privileged. I love the way HUUB takes science and research to the next level to make sure they can provide me with the fastest products on the market. That's why I choose HUUB!"
Kristian will join talent under the HUUB umbrella such as Olympic and world champions Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, world champion Helen Jenkins, Hannah Cockroft MBE, junior Olympic champion Ben Dijkstra, Ironman legend Dave Scott and GB podium Ironman David McNamee. Plus ITU stars and swim specialists, Richard Varga and Raoul Shaw and young up and coming talents such as George Peasgood.
